As per the findings of experts, this body type should follow a diet based on 55% carbohydrate, 25% protein and 25% fat. Foods that this person should consume are lean meats, vegetables, eggs, milk, and olive oil, fruits like avocado, oilseeds, and whole grains.
In terms of physical activity, these people should do little cardiovascular activity, but emphasize the movements of muscle mass development. They will nicely shape their body by introducing exercises with high physical effort like weight lifting.
- Mesomorphic body
Women with this body type have the shape of an apple, meaning that people belonging to this type accumulate more fat in their abdominal area. In most cases these people are not really fat, but have fat in their waist.
The optimal diet for this body type is the one based on 45 to 65% carbohydrates, 10 to 35% protein and 20 to 35% fat. The diet should be comprised of fruits, vegetables, lean meats, whole grains, low-fat dairy products, and oilseeds. Foods that you should avoid are fizzy drinks, refined flour, fast foods and processed foods.
It is believed that this body type can easily lose weight and the exercises should be focused on building muscle strength. The best activities would be yoga or Pilates.
- Endomorphous Body
These people are mostly affected by overweight and obesity and accumulate fat in different body parts. They are also prone to metabolic difficulties, and for them the recommended daily intake of calories should be lower. They should reduce the calorie intake from 500 to 200 calories per day. Another thing that needs to be monitored is the salt intake as they can easily suffer from water retention in the body.
If you belong to this body type you should introduce healthy fats in your daily diet like avocado, olive oil, and fruits and vegetables that are high in water.
The best physical activity would be moderate aerobics for half an hour. Therefore, walking, running or cycling would be very beneficial activities for an endomorphous morphology. When the weight loss gets initiated, make sure to implement bodybuilding exercises in your sports routine.
