Gluten-Free Chocolate Cake with Coconut Oil, Chocolate Frosting & Doesn’t Cause Bloating

The Recipe for Gluten Free Chocolate Cake

Preparation time: 10 minutes.

Cooking time: 35 minutes.

This recipe is for 8 servings.

Needed Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of gluten-free flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups of coconut sugar
  • ¾ cup of cocoa powder
  • 1 ½ teaspoon of baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons of baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon of sea salt
  • Half a cup of coconut oil (ambient temperature)
  • 1 cup of coconut milk
  • 1 cup of organic coffee
  • 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
  • Chocolate frosting


First you need to preheat your oven at 350 degrees F. For this recipe you should use two 9-inch cake pans. Prepare them by buttering and flouring them nicely.

Then, take a bowl and mix in it the flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.

In a separate bowl mix the eggs, coconut milk, oil, and vanilla extract till you get smooth texture. Combine both mixtures and after that add in it a cup of coffee, and stir the whole mixture once again.

Put the batter evenly in both cake pans, and start the baking part. Bake your cakes for 30 to 35 minutes which is an enough time for the cakes to be nicely baked.

Take out the cake pans from the oven, and leave them to completely cool off.

Needed Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of softened butter
  • *** If you prefer vegan butter you can use it
  • 1/3 cup of coconut milk
  • 2/3 cup of cocoa powder
  • 1 cup of honey
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • Half a teaspoon of sea salt


Place all of the ingredients in a bowl and stir everything nicely till the mixture is nicely combined. For that purpose use a whisk or a hand held power blender.
