- Wash the food with warm water

- Rinse with salt water
You should soak your veggies or fruits in a large bowl of water mixed with ½ teaspoon of salt. Make sure that you wash the fruits and veggies well and afterwards rinse it with water. Don’t forget to always wash the fruits and veggies before you cook.
- Diluted vinegar option
There are different pesticides that can be absorbed by the peel. In order to get rid of it you should clean them with diluted vinegar. You should mix 1 teaspoon of vinegar with water and pour this mixture in a bowl. Leave the veggies and fruits for some time in this mixture, and afterwards wash them with water.
- Remove the peel
Fruits and veggies such as apples, oranges, ginger, mangoes, potatoes, avocados, onions, carrots, beets, radishes, etc, you could easily remove the skin. Make sure that you wash the veggies first and remove the peel. Make sure that you wash the fruits again before you use them.
- Homemade cleaning spray
You should mix 1 tablespoon of lemon juice with 2 tablespoons of baking soda. Make sure that you mix it well and spray it on your fruits and veggies.
- Clean with a cloth
You will need to moist a cloth by soaking it in warm water. Use this cloth to wipe the surface of the veggies and fruits. This way you will manage to remove any residues that stick on the surface.
