2 Foot Bath Recipes That Remove the Toxins from the Body & Improve Your Health

These two techniques will help in the removal of toxins and body cleanse and the use of feet will contribute in this body detox. We shall present to you two methods: a foot bath and a foot scrub.

Method 1 – Detox Foot Bath

Did you know that the feet have over 7000 nerve endings, and because of that the footbath is particularly effective way for the removal of body toxins. These ingredients can be used in the follow-up of this detox method.

  1. Epsom salt

The combo of Epsom salt with sea salt in equal amounts along with 2 glasses of baking soda and a drop of your favorite essential oil in hot water will provide the needed body detox. Add this mixture in a hot water and stir everything nicely till everything gets dissolved. Once the solution is prepared soak your feet in it for at least half an hour.

This feet bath will not only help with the removal of toxins from the body, but also with the treatment of skin irritation. As per a conducted study, the use of an Epsom salt bath is a great way to elevate the magnesium levels in the body.

  1. Hydrogen peroxide

Combine the 2 two cups of hydrogen peroxide with dried ginger powder and in this mixture add the hot water. Soak your feet in this warm foot bath for at least half an hour. The use of this mixture will remove the toxins from the body, lower the allergies, the skin irritations and stress.

  1. The clay

Mix Epsom salt and clay in equal parts and then add a few drops of your favorite essential oil. Put it in hot water and in it soak your feet for around 20 minutes. This bentonite clay is very beneficial for the body that will help in its detoxification.

Method 2 – Detox Foot Scrub

Needed Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of sea salt
  • ½ cup of olive oil
  • 2 sliced lemons
  • 4-5 drops of lemon essential oil
  • 2 drops of peppermint oil

Preparation:

Mix nicely the ingredients till they become evenly distributed and then use it on your feet by gently rubbing each part for a minimum of 5 minutes.

Note:

These detox methods are not allowed for children under the age of 5 and also for pregnant and breastfeeding women.

People that have open wounds in the feet and people with implants or transplants are forbidden the use of these methods.
