Recipe for Super Healthy Smoothie for Weight Loss

Weight loss is something that we all need at some point in life, and in order to be based on starvation and nutrient deprivation we recommend a super healthy smoothie that will provide efficient weight loss.  This is a recipe of Dr. Oz, the author of the book “You on a Diet” that will prevent weight gain and still provide your body with valuable nutrients. The secret lies in the used ingredients.

Lemon

This citrus fruit is packed with vitamin C, an antioxidant that has the ability to lower the build-up of fat in the body. Plus, it is very high in soluble fiber like pectin that is present in the lemon zest, specifically surrounding the white membrane and bark. Pectin is an appetite suppressant agent offering the feeling of fullness preventing you from taking large amounts of food. It will reduce blood cholesterol levels and thus protect your body from the development of a cardiovascular disease.

Apple

This amazing fruit also contains pectin along with other valuable nutrients. It will battle against high cholesterol levels and prevent the onset of a cardiovascular disease. Additionally, its consumption will positively affect the body’s metabolism of lipids that are present in the body.

Spinach

Recipe for Super Healthy Smoothie for Weight Loss

Needed Ingredients:

For optimal effects you should use only organic ingredients.

  • ½ lemon
  • 3 green apples
  • 2 spinach handles
  • 1 medium sized ginger root
  • 3 glasses of water
  • 1 tablespoon of cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon of pure honey (optional use)

Preparation:

Juice out the lemon and along with the other ingredients put it in a blender. Mix till you obtain smooth texture. If you want you can sweeten it by adding the honey.

You can consume it as breakfast since it is packed with valuable nutrients and will offer the feeling of fullness. If you have hectic mornings, then you can prepare this smoothie in advance and freeze it. Prepare a portion for each day of the working week, freeze it and have it in the morning.

Note:

People with citrus allergies, stomach ulcers or burns, kidney and biliary disorders should not use this smoothie due to the content of lemon. Lemon can harm the tooth enamel and because of that after its consumption you should rinse your mouth cavity with water and wait 30 minutes before brushing your teeth.

This smoothie is not recommended for pregnant women, diabetics, people suffering from blood diseases, and very weak people.
