3-Day Sugar Detox Diet to Eliminate Cravings for Sweets & Lose Weight

Day 3

  • A bowl of oatmeal
  • Almond milk
  • Blueberries
  • Flaxseed

2nd menu:

  • A 3-egg omelet with sautéed kale and seasoned with Provencal herbs.

1st menu:

  • Roasted chicken leg with sage, rosemary and lemon

2nd menu:

  • Roasted chicken with thyme, black olives and onions.

Dinner meal:

  • Garlic broth with mushrooms, carrots, celery, onions, bay leaves and thyme.

2nd menu:

  • Brown rice with tomato sauce, mushrooms and basil.

Drinks to Take with This Diet

Water

While a detox treatment you need to drink water as much as possible. In this way your body will receive its optimal hydration and removal all the toxins present in the body. You can enhance the flavor of the water and its benefits by adding pieces of fruit, including orange, grapefruit, strawberry, and blueberries along with mint or fresh rosemary. Keep this mix in the fridge, and drink it throughout the day.

Tea

You can consume herbal teas or green tea if you want to lose weight and detox the body. However, it needs to be taken free of sugar, 3 times a day.

Note:

Green tea is very beneficial for the body, but as well as it is known that it slows down the absorption of iron coming from plant origin. Hence, you should drink it at least 2 hours before or after meals. People with gastro esophageal reflux, hiatal hernia and oesophagitis should not consume it. If you are taking an anticoagulant therapy, then its intake must be avoided.
