Needed Things:

  • 1 lemon
  • A suitable container
  • Potting soil
  • Plastic film

Instructions:

First you need to cut the lemon in half and then remove the seeds. Make sure that your seed are cleaned from the entire pulp residue and then put them in a container filled with water. They should stay in that container for 6 to 7 days. Make certain to change the water every day.

Once this period has passed prepare your container by making small holes in the bottom so that the water can flow freely. Put the potting soil in a bucket and pour some water in order to moisten it. Transfer it into the container leaving around 2 to 3 centimeters of space on the edge.

When you plant the seeds they need to be wet and like that plant them in the middle of the pot in about 1 centimeter deep hole. Spray the potting soil with water and cover the container with plastic film. Seal the edges with a rubber band and then make small holes in the plastic film by using a pencil. The pot needs to be kept in a warm and light space, however not directly exposed to sunlight. Like this it needs to stay for 1 to 2 weeks, and then you will see small shoots. Once they appear place the container to a location that is more exposed to sunlight.

Water the plantation from time to time so that the soil is well moisturized. But, it should not be too wet. Remove the dead leaves and ensure that your pot is at minimum 8 hours a day exposed to light. You should use fertilizer every 6 months to 1 year.

Have in mind that in order to see produce you need to wait for three years, but believe us it is worth it.
