  • ½ cup of pure Aloe Vera gel
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 3 to 4 drops of peppermint essential oil

Preparation and use: Mix the listed ingredients till they are nicely combined. The resulting mixture, keep it in an airtight glass bottle. Use this mouthwash once a day for 3 – 4 days consecutively.

This natural ingredient has been used by people for centuries due to its amazing properties. One of them is clean and whiter teeth. It can remove the plaque thanks to its granular texture and antibacterial effect. As per a performed study, released in The Journal of Clinical Dentistry, toothpastes that are based on baking soda are more effective in removing plaque.

Just mix 1 tablespoon of baking soda with 1 teaspoon of coconut oil and in the resulting mixture soak your toothbrush. After you have brushed your teeth with this mixture, rinse your mouth cavity with clear water. Have in mind that this mixture can be used only once a week due to its abrasive nature that can harm the dental enamel.
