2-Day Weekend Detox Program to Remove All the Poisons from Your Body

Having been under the influence of constant stress, bad eating and drinking habits, mood swings, depression and other states can contribute to poor overall health. For that purpose, we shall present you a two-day lemon program.

A 2-Day Lemon Detox Program

This food program includes foods that are high in fiber, including vegetables, oatmeal, and seeds. Their use will aid the digestion and the presence of foods like green tea and blueberries will offer the draining, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effect.

Have in mind that during this program you need to drink warm lemon water consisted of 250ml of warm water with half a lemon, upon waking up prior breakfast.

1st Day

Breakfast meal:

  • 1 cup of plain yoghurt or almond milk,
  • Half a cup of fresh blueberries,
  • 1 tablespoon of flax seeds,
  • 1 cup of oatmeal,
  • 1 cup of green tea.

Lunch meal:

  • A bowl of salad, containing chard and potatoes with a little olive oil,
  • 9 ounce of grilled hake,
  • 2 cups of salad, containing arugula and tomatoes,
  • 1 cup of water,
  • For dessert consume a slice of melon and a small banana.

Snack:

  • A quarter cup of pumpkin seeds,
  • ¾ cup Greek yogurt,
  • 1 cup of water,
  • 1 apple.

Dinner meal:

  • Half a cup of steamed vegetables like broccoli and spinach,
  • 5 ounce of grilled tuna,
  • 2 cups of salad seasoned with olive oil and lemon juice,
  • 1 cup of anise tea.

2nd Day

Breakfast meal:

  • 1 cup of plain yoghurt or almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon of flax seeds,
  • 1 cup of oatmeal,
  • 1 pear,
  • 1 cup of green tea.

Snack: Grapefruit

Lunch meal:

  • 1 cup of water,
  • 7 ounce of grilled chicken,
  • 1 cup of gherkins and a vegetable soup, containing carrots, potatoes, celery, onions, beans and peppers.

Dinner meal:

  • A bowl of a salad containing carrots and beets seasoned with lemon juice,
  • 1 cup of nettle tea.

Note:

During this food program you need to drink plenty of water, at least 8 cups of water a day.
