Recipe of a Detox Drink: Apple juice, Beets and Carrots

Required Ingredients:

  • 1 apple
  • 2 carrots
  • Half a beet
  • A quarter teaspoon of cinnamon powder
  • A pinch of salt
  • 2 cups of water

Method of Preparation:

You should clean the fruits and vegetables with a little white vinegar or cider. Next, cut them into small pieces and place them in a blender. Blend till you get a smooth texture.

Apple

Note:

The consumption of apple can cause gas, bloating, and diarrhea in people with sensitive stomach.

Carrots can trigger an allergy syndrome in people who are allergic to pollen.

If you are taking anticoagulants, then you should not consume beet since it is a natural coagulant. It contains betalaines and in regular consumption your stool and urine may turn reddish, but this is not dangerous and the consumption of beet is still good for your health.

On the other hand, the use of cinnamon is not advised for pregnant women.
