The most favorite dessert for many people is for sure the tiramisu. Its consumption brings great benefits to many people in terms of cheering them up and making their day.
There are many ways of preparing this comforting dessert and thus offer great pleasure to your family and friends. In this article we shall focus on preparing tiramisu in a healthy form, and for that reason we should use pears and other healthy ingredients.
A Healthy Recipe of Tiramisu with Pear and Speculoos
First you need to prepare the pears:
- 5 pears
- 600 grams of agave syrup
- 2 liters of water
- 4 star anise
- 3 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice
- 2 teaspoons of ground cinnamon
Preparation: First you need to peel and cut the pears in wedges. Next, take a sauce pan and in it pour the water, agave syrup, cinnamon, star anise and lemon juice. Bring the mixture to a boiling point and then add the pear quarters and simmer till the pears become tender. When they are nicely cooked, take them out from the mixture and cut them into cubes. In this state set them aside.
Here it is how to prepare the cream:
- 4 eggs
- 95 grams of agave syrup
- 500 grams of mascarpone
- 1 vanilla pod
Preparation: Start with separating the yolks from the whites. Next, in a bowl place the egg yolks, agave syrup and vanilla and start mixing them with an electric whisk till you obtain a frothy texture. After that, include the mascarpone, and continue whipping. Keep the mixture in the fridge. In the end beat the egg whites and slowly add them to the mixture. Place the mix again in the fridge.
The ingredients for the speculoos:
- 100 grams of spelled flour
- 40 grams of deodorized coconut oil
- 35 grams of agave syrup
- 2 teaspoons of ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon of the 4 spices mixture
- A pinch of salt
Preparation: You should preheat the oven at 180 ° C.
In a bowl first mix the dry ingredients like the flour, salt, cinnamon, and 4 spices mixture. After that include the agave syrup and the coconut oil. From the dough form a ball and then spread it between two sheets of parchment paper so that you reach the thickness of 4 to 5 mm, and for that purpose use a rolling pin. Bake the biscuits on a baking sheet which was previously covered with parchment paper. Bake for around 9 minutes. Once taken out from the oven leave them to stand a few minutes on a rack.
Since you have prepared everything make the layers of your verrines. Start with placing the crushed speculoos, then a layer of cream, pears and a second layer of cream. You can decorate your dessert with pieces of pears. Place the verrines in the refrigerator and let them stay there for at least for 4 hours.
Once served you can also add crushed speculoos. Voila! Your super healthy tiramisu is ready for consumption. Enjoy it!
