Triple Fruit Smoothie

Fruit juice only counts once per day towards your daily target of the portions of fruit and vegetables. That’s because juicing fruit remove its valuable fibre and makes the sugars more easily available, but inclusion here of banana and strawberries (or any other fruit you enjoy) means each serving counts as two fruit portions.

Triple Fruit Smoothie 1

Preparation time: less than 10 minutes;

Cooking time: none

 

Ingredients for 2 servings:

1 banana

150 g (5 ½ oz) strawberries

200 ml (7 fl oz) orange juice

 

Directions:

Place all the ingredients in a blender and whiz until smooth.
