Potatoes are favorite food for most of us. They can be prepared in a number of different ways, as fried, baked, boiled or used in salads, and they are equally delicious in any of the forms and therefore regularly present on our tables. Certainly, when we speak about health and food, we all should do our best to eat healthy. Therefore, instead of fried, we should all choose let’s say to eat baked potatoes with garlic and rosemary, which are vegetarian, gluten free, and most of all healthy.
3 pounds potatoes
¼ cup olive oil
1 ½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon pepper
2 -3 gloves garlic
2 teaspoons rosemary
Preheat the oven to 390 F.
Clean the garlic cloves and mince them.
Wash the rosemary and finely chop it.
In a baking pan, put the olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic and rosemary. Mix well everything.
Peel the potatoes and cut them in halves or quarters (depends on their size). Put the potatoes in the pan and mix them with the spices.
Put them in the oven and bake for 45 minutes to an hour, until golden brown. During the baking mix the potatoes few times.
Serve the baked potatoes with fresh salad or sour cream sauce.
